Why would Russia fire missiles at extreme western Ukraine near the Polish border. The war is on the other side of the country. This is a sparsely populated area on both sides of the border. It is 70 km from Lviv.

its straightforward - its rail connection and hub. Most of the military help comes via rail to Ukraine. They attacked rail connection couple times but in the past it was more precise.

nevertheless, Russians are a bunch of idiots. so for me its normal. its like two stupid dogs movie at cartoon network or something like that. Like I said I think there won't be any escalation.

Because their equipment sucks and they don’t have the targeting capacity that NATO has, so stuff is going to overfly or underfly, or travel left or right of its target sometimes and land wherever gravity compels. This episode is symptomatic of why Russia is retreating.

Could it have been debris from an intercepted rocket?

Apollo has balls of brass - they took down a lot of Carvana's bonds - they must have taken a huge hit on those.

They simply ran out of precise weapons. They had a few, they are gone.

It is all about propaganda in Russia/Soviet Union. Since over 100 years. Core principle is to make the world believe that Russia is stronger and more weaponized than it actually is.

There is a electricity line between Poland and Ukraine so it could be a target. but its speculation.

but to sum

- Polish official said they want to analyze this futher. No decision what it was and why.

- three options

1. it was strayed Russian missle

2. it was Ukrainian missle (anti air, due to 100 missle coming from Russia)

3. a test from russia - so a real missle and right place

The  president called emergency meeting around 12.00 Warsaw Time Tomorrow

Poland could use art. 4 of Nato pact - it's just consultation process and it happened like 15 times in the past.
