Any amount of draining whatsoever would have caused catastrophe, and now we are seeing all of the things I warned about coming to fruition. I even predicted the timing. Where I may have been wrong is that I thought that the Fed would be forced to end QT in September. So I'm a month early. Is that such a big deal? This chart will age well. The misstep is coming. Everyone will be happy about those "green shoots" that are planted...I"m going to be worried. Very worried. Although, to understand why I've said this, you'd need to understand my psychological make-up... "From the days of yore...I'm nothing more than a watchman on the wall with a good set of eyes." I mean, if guys are all in cahoots, letting them blow up seems pointless if they're gonna get a bailout anyway. Why not head it off before it gets there? Or was that the plan all along somehow?
