tapeworm
That said, I hope they're not charging too much for pearls such as "the market may move higher in the short-term; otherwise the market will continue to move lower"... The fellow is obviously a Professional with mud-blowing as smooth as that. Here is another smooth guy giving some honest market advice: http://home.attbi.com/~kmatenaer/SNL.wmv Splatter on  Tapeworm

brian4
Swee-I'm with Greg-I hope you didn't pay much for that piece( may go up-or down). The last market high of note was Nov.27th of last year since then except for a brief blip in January the markets have gone straight down. Summoner often says let your winners run, in my opinion he is absolutely correct. There are a lot of good traders on the board and there are others who are learning. A lot of the latter moan when the market goes up that they are getting killed which IS because they hold too long against the grain-conversely when the market tanks and they just start to make some money they immediately want to cover because they fear a jam, they cover the market keeps going down and they moan again. IF you use intelligent STOPS you can make money and sleep nights also if GreasePan was omnipotent the markets wouldn't be where they are today. If you are an unsure trader it is better you stay out being unsure is a license to lose good money. Trade Safe!
Guest The CoinGuy
Hello Fellow Stoolies, I may have missed something, did the Shrub say something new? Why the press conference... . Maybe I missed something. Merci, Glad to see you back on the Stool... Position Summary: Short -n- Sweet...Still Long gold, euros. On The Beach
Futures on a boner run into the GW speech. Lets see if Al Green can hold overnight into the PreMarket. Hey Al, when was the last all-night session you had??? By the way, where is Buddhadropping??? They went limp when he said NOTHING NEW. Same angry rhetoric. Smoke 'em out. Delay tactice. Must disarm. Hiding WMDs. Blah, blah, blah. Same as Powell's dog and pony show a month ago. IT WON'T WORK. Nothing...but the same old rehash that 95% of the globe outisde the U.S. doesn't agree with. He is performing poorly...a really weak moment fo America. If they can spin this...I'll be amazed.

Hey Al, when was the last all-night session you had??? Hey look at the futures now, the boner looks more like a finger now that it fell off the cliff as Mr. Bush start talking. Bush talk=Market tank. Apparently, they somehow believe they can rally the World into a preemptive attack if they keep repeating the same mantra. Deep down they know they are losing the PR and diplomatic battle. Guest The CoinGuy
B4, Very well thought out advice, I would only add, in a choppy market it doesn't hurt to take a profit, and cash "is" a position. Words we've all heard before, I know, but when my father, before he passed away in 98 would always say, as we were trading together, Yes, I know you've heard this before, but I'll be repeating it until I'm dead, and rest assured you'll never forget it after I'm gone. Solid and Sound advice cannot be repeated often enough. A principle I believe you have a good grasp of. Best to you, TCG
Guest The CoinGuy
OTB, First of all, love the avatar...In complete agreement with your synopsis. In my view, they've lost the PR war since day one. I've read the pundits opinions, but my own decision on this matter is not dissuaded one Iota. Currency dominance, Gold, and Oil is the cause for this battle, I fear the outcome, as well as dollar hegemony whether we win or lose. ALL: had a major illness, back on the trail, but taking it slowly. Love the stool, and have been monitoring as much as possible. TCG

buttugly
Merciless: good to see you back. My youngest brother is due back from the Caribbean shortly. He has been down there for a similar period. He did a yacht delivery from the Canary Islands. He has been to Trinidad for their carnival - can't wait to hear the stories. I hope your return is "good timing"? All we need is London and it is all aboard. BPIs look like they are heading lower. Don't know which is better the 17 day or the 21 day but the $CPC isn't saying buy. So I added to my short on MSFT and tried to open a short on HOT - but I am not sure if it got filled. The Bin laden rumours - I think this is clutching at straws - I will truly be amazed if they capture him, that's if he is even alive. I was in a dept store today and was looking at their PCs just as a joke. You should have seen the salesmen fight over me. And the deal they had on this Hewlett Packard with flat screen - unbelievable. If this is any indicator the PC industry is in serious stool. Been there - done that. Thankfully I learned quickly how to ignore the noise and ride the sqeezzzzzeeeeees. Works a lot better when one trades with the major trend. Right now the trend is down until indicators prove otherwise.
Guest
Shrub appears to have convinced himself that there is a dictator in Iraq named Sadam Bin Laden. He managed to merge the two issues (terrorism and disarmament) into one - which is probably a good indication that his mind is that deluded. Us against the world...here we go..."show us your cards - we've got a full house!" Did anyone else think he sounded like he was on ludes? I can't even count the number of times he tipped his hand about the fact that we "will" attack - including his advice for the journalists to leave Iraq to avoid being harmed. Reagan was at least a good actor.

Fortunately, doubled down small thumps on INTC, AMAT and DISH. Didn't want to risk any surprise, surprise, lookey, lookey we got another evil-doer. Instead, we got a tired, rambling rehash that really lacked confidence or coherence. Japan can't even hold up NIKKEI and TOPIX going into fiscal EOM. 777 heavy on a 200% adVENTURE cued and ready...
