I'm not leaving but not because of any attachment to The Nation. 50% of the populace is fascist. Nothing new. Most are decent enough neighbors where I've lived and worked. I've known that consciously since around 73. This stuff was explicit to me when Ronny Reagan got elected. So it's only 40 years since what was obvious is now being seen as implicit in Conservatism, maybe. Well the jury will always be out on that in the pages of the NY Times. With the giant banks being the home town industry and all that. Ted Cruz is running for President of Texas. He doesn't stand a chance against Elon Musk. That's how, if and when, Treasuries and lots of other stuff become worthless. Well there will be attempted work arounds for the other stuff. I just like to visit the Sandhills.
