I remember hearing long ago that one night for a bit, the late comedian Andy Kaufman read aloud names from the phone book, and kept reading it, and reading it, and reading it. Many in the crowd, understandably disgruntled, left in dismay. But every few minutes, some would go back into the club to see whether he was still reading from the phone book or was doing a routine. But alas, Andy keep reading from the phone book the entire evening. That was the bit.

This market feels like that. I keep checking back every few minutes to see if anything has happened. Joke's on me. 🤡

Market seems to have gotten thinner this afternoon. And thin typically isn't bullish.

What‘s the difference between dull and thin?

Thin is illiquid and volatile with widening bid-ask spreads.

Dull is quiet with tight spreads.
