I just hope the the epidemiologist experts are as wrong as stock market "experts" usually are.

They're saying 18 more months of this shit, with the next wave next winter worse than this one.

Plus, we had another quake this morning here in Zagreb.  3.5 -  just a quick jolt. No biggie.

Sweden's experiment with social responsibility isn't going too well. The dead bodies are piling up. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/sweden/

Deaths per million

Denmark 1394

Norway 1354

Sweden 1585

200/million isn't nothing but it doesn't support a strong narrative at this point. It could later.

Whatever the  rate and the shape of the curve everyone is going to have to make decisions on how much risk they are willing to take for the next year or 3. At least those of us with a  choice.

Look at the charts for new cases and new deaths over the past week. This is where the difference is clear.

So much for social responsibility. Sweden’s rate of new infections is 3-5 times greater than its neigbors Norway and Denmark. Its death rate is 15 times greater.

Poland has had among the most draconian restrictions.  People could only leave their homes to shop for groceries and medicines. It now allows people out of their houses but requires that everyone wear a mask in public.

Poland cases per million - 273

Sweden 1,585

Poland Deaths/million 11

Sweden 192

New cases yesterday

Poland  313,  Population 38 million

Sweden 682, Population 10 million

When was the last time market went down when jobless claims were actually worse than expected? Was crystal clear that we'd go up no matter how bad the number would be.

Now they are preparing the bomber squad for FULL ASSULT on bears once the new home sales figure comes out. They gonna kill the last bear today and hang him at the corner at Wall Street. It will be a scene like that one when they did hang Mussolini.
