All Ords finished +0.6% for the day with sectors ranging from Utilities +1.4%, Telecomms +1.3% down to Gold -1.9%.

Over in Asia, China +0.1%, Hong Kong -0.3%, Japan -0.8%, India currently -0.4%.

UK/Europe off and running: FTSE +0.9%, DAX +0.6%, CAC +0.3%.

3 day cycle projection 2957-57 was hit on that plunge. Also obvious support so the dippers stepped in.  Probably lots of short covering too. If this burns out, failure would be awe inspiring.

5 day cycle stuff looks pretty negative with a projection of 2944 at this point.

Jesus - I  missed this yesterday. The Fed increased the overnight repo TOMO to $100 billion from $75 billion. However, that was on top of the $90 billion  in 14 day repos also offered last week.  On Friday, dealers only took a combined total of $71.7 billion. Why?  T-bill issuance was very light this week and will be very light next week.
