I just got back to FL Looks like  I gotta turn around and get the hell out. Pretty sure my house can withstand a Cat 3, but can't be without electricity for days.  If anywhere on the S. FL or central FL coast takes a direct hit from a Cat 4 or 5,  these are heavily populated high value areas. Damage would be catastrophic. The further south landfall is, the greater the impact.

2 day cycle projection drops back to 2918, already overshot. 3 day now points to 2936. 5 day down to 2922, done. If this rolls over below 2928, pahtay ovah.

OK. Now I'm getting very very nervous.  The forecast intensity is now Cat 4 and we are squarely near the center of the forecast cone.  Shit.
