In a downtrending market its a gold mine. Just gotta have big brass balls and ignore pops. I usually minimize market risk by entering into a shortfolio right near the top of a pop. Like this past January. I minimize selection risk by simple diverisfied portfolio theory (10-20 stock portfolio) Stay in 'til stopped out, don't second-guess once in. Can u imagine when fun manager wants to unload large position with no buyer?s insight? This could explaine why gold Shares are not going up KLAC, AMAT is on the last leg.
