Huge news on the TBAC's recommendations.  How much of a departure is this from the past when the debt limit started coming into view?  Did the "recommend" lower borrowing, to the point of suspending it?

Well anyway their rainy day has come.

TESLA BREACHES THE MARGIN...NOT LINE

(Terrible pun on the marginot line)

Tesla stock breached the $250 line

Next stop ZERO???

Admire the guys vision BUT ....NOT the business plan,

In the end its the cold hard calculus of numbers that count.

When did Tesla jump the shark???

There are so many events to choose from.

Sending the Tesla to Mars is definately up there for contention.

But my personal favourate is the funding secured buyout at $420.

He's a  megalomaniac. Very popular with the John Galt crowd. Might not go to zero. The brand has value. Not sure the world needs another car brand. At 25 cents on the dollar there might  be a buyer. But if it were to shut down totally getting it back running might be impossible.  I'd guess he would take it all the way down, blaming others the whole way.

I think it was Oscar Levant, who knew from experience, and who said that there's a fine line between genius and insanity.

More Tesla.  Using plans to fund building a pick em up truck Tesla plans $1.3bn convertable bond offering and $650m stock offering.

Ultimately Musk's greatest talent is getting people to give him money.

Let's see if he gets it this time. If not it could be curtains.
