World Stock Markets Trading Discussion - Onerous occlusion

All Ords 5-day chart




All Ords straggled sideways for the rest of the day before finally finishing -0.4%.  REITS +0.9% remained leader followed by Healthcare +0.8%.  Energy -2.6% was down the most.

Over in Asia, Hong Kong -0.2%, Japan -2%, India currently -0.5%.

UK/Europe just open: FTSE +0.1%, DAX -0.1%, CAC flat.

The 'news' which has been coincident with so much of the markets direction the past year,  that is trade with China, is grim. Word is out now that negotiations have not settled a thing,  Trump is not going to meet with Xi and Trump is apparantly going to ban Chinese telecom equipment next week. Not to mention the wheels are still turning to get the Huawai exec here to put her on trial. It was assumed there was going to be some 'deal' to put lipstick on the pig but even that story isn't flying anymore. I'm sure it will be back.  

I think of this stuff as a cyclical story.

Support has held and the 5 day cycle indicators. 

If they don't get this off the ground, there's a lot of air below 2682.
