Apple simply went too far with its price policy. Those chinese smartphones used to be crqp. Not anymore. You get them for 300, you pay 1200 for an Iphone. The index finished -0.3% with sectors ranging from Gold +2.8% and Utilities +1.9% down to IT -2.1% and Consumer Staples -1.4%. Over in Asia, China +2.1%, Hong Kong +2.2%, Japan -2.3%, India currently +0.2%.
