All Ords 5-day chart




All Ords shot up +0.9% but is now looking a trifle overexended.  Gold +1.8% was way out in front followed by Materials and REITS, both +1.7%.

Over in Asia, China -0.2%, Hong Kong +0.7%, Japan +1.1% and India +0.1%.

UK/Europe backing off: FTSE -0.1%, DAX +0.1%, CAC -0.3%.

3 day cycle projection  2754-60.  2 day 2759. Need a 10 minute close below 2743 to break the 2 day uptrend. 

I'm in Baltimore for a meeting.  WIll check in this afternoon.

This Republic Metals bankruptcy is a real problem. $174 million in assets and $265 in liabilities. $177 million in senior debt. Potential for a lot of fallout.


[RMC] discovered a significant discrepancy in its inventory accounting as part of its preparation of 2017 year end financials and quarterly financials for the first quarter, 2018 … a final report that confirmed inventory discrepancies in the Debtors’ books and records.”
