Another down day for the early openers but more a hangover from yesterday at this stage: Kiwis -0.2%, Aussies -0.4%, Japan -0.2%, Sth Korea flat.

Aussie sectors evenly divided: REITS +1% down to Energy -1.5%.

All Ords decided "up" was the way to go: the index closed +0.2% with sectors ranging from Telecomms/REITS +1.8% down to Energy -0.9%.

Over in Asia, China -0.2%, Hong Kong +1%, Japan -0.8%, India currently -0.5%.

RE BITCOIN

 

This is what happens after a blow of top.

 

Not pretty not pretty at all.

 

I think bonds and stocks may follow in 2018.

 

Too much overvaluation and no returns.

 

2018 - the year of downside protection

No shorting.

I suspect this thing will get jam back up to fill the gap and potentially retest the highs.
