All Ords finished the day +0.5% with REITS retaining the lead, +1.4% followed by IT +0.9%.  Energy -0.2% was the only down sector.

Over in Asia, China +0.4%, Hong Kong +0.8%, Japan -0.2%, India currently flat.

Biotech Index testing some significant support here. In past a pretty good early indicator of risk on/risk off transitions.  They were the first thing to break down when the 2012-2015 wave up ended.  Worth keeping an eye on.

Day after Bitcoin has big shooting star (candlestick). Nikkei follows last night. Japan was one of the first countries to legalize bitcoin as tender for payments. Maybe a coincidence or not. Found it interesting.

2 hrs to close it green

 It's  my understanding that the new rule is; if Trump tweets something, the market will close green.
