Stan Barti Interview

I like 4 that he mentions: AMC.TO, CRK.TO, AVR.V, and SUE.TO (they are nestled with "Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE:ABX; TSX:ABX) has Lagunas Norte on one side. On the other side is the Yanacocha mine, which Newmont Mining Corporation (NYSE:NEM) operates.").

I rolled SPY put profits into AMC.TO (.138 U.S.), purchased back RML.V @ .18 (sold @ .21), more MTO.V (.47x) (have lots despite slimy management), and bought 10k lotto tickets of ATW Gold @ .047 (recent agreement with Mutiny Gold gives them opportunity to have a pulse again. No debt, steady cash coming in from 70% sale of property, Mutiny paying for all development & exploration).

If $1215 breaks (er, when)...look out above.

Timely buy on Rusoro...volume over million shares today.

Beautiful double-bottoms on MANY junior gold stocks (AMC.TO, HGC.V, RML.V, MDN.TO, etc.).

Detailed Quote for Rusoro Mining Ltd. (RML:CA)

$ 0.22 0.045 (+25.71%) Volume: 1.08 m 11:49 AM EDT Aug 12, 2010

Review HL consolidation pattern from the 70s.......

edit: Rusoro back to .20, over 2m shares now.

edit: BTW: Rusoro able to export 50% of gold now, up from 30%. http://www.eluniversal.com/2010/08/12/eco_ava_gobierno-aumenta-cuo_12A4328651.shtml

Also: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-08-12/chavez-s-gold-export-rules-may-allow-rusoro-to-quadruple-ore-output-by-13.html

Another positive: "Rusoro reached an agreement with the Venezuelan government that will allow it to exchange up to $350,000 a month at 4.3 bolivars to the dollar, Agapov said." (prior to, they were forced to exchange at ~5.3).

Management is striking the greed chord again..I bet it'll work as gold gets into a frenzy: "Rusoro, based in Vancouver, will seek to expand annual production in Venezuela to 600,000 ounces by 2013 from 150,000 in 2009 following the change, Agapov said."

There are things about gold I don't like short-term but we'll see if they come to fruition. Quite awhile ago I said this move could take us above the 50. Back then this is where I was looking for it to stall. This may still be the case. Also, look at the pattern we've created the past week. A plateau followed by today's surge. This, with no follow-through, gets ugly to the downside. So let's pay attention to what happens next..it'll be big. If down, it'll be a beautiful setup into seasonal strength. If not...yikes, we're going to run..

edit: NEM still not participating much.
